Did you know a lot of the construction jobs offered there have a lot of applicants from the mainland.

My understanding from being into many interviews , I have been getting into the top 5 out of 200 applicants to even get an interview , which they make mention that more then half is from the mainland and they are willing to relocate themselves if hire .

it is a tough time out there .

I have been out since September 2008 - Yes almost a year and a half - super bummer .

I use and search

1 - Hawaii Hire . Net
2 - Monster.com <-- They send me via email notifications of new job postings
3 - Indeed.com <-- They send me via email notifications of new job postings
4 - Hawaii Jobs on Demand <-- They send me via email notifications of new job postings
5 - Ladders <-- They send me via email notifications of new job postings -- > but are top of the line jobs 100K plus .
6 - Career Builder - however they seem to duplicate - Indeed
7 - Job seekers
8 - Jobs Free for All

There are many more web sites , but you have to pay a subscription for their service <-- I was advised to not pay a cent . Keep with the free ones listed above .

I also monitor the Big companies Web Sites - Some only advertise on their own sites
